If you have trouble running the game in the browser, try the download version, it should perform much better.
Right now you need to Alt+F4 or Tab out to close the game though.

I added the source code in case you want to export the game for Mac/Linux
or you just want to sneak a peek at my messy game-jam code :)

I like the music and the art style is a bit trippy too... What engine did you use for the game jam?

(1 edit)

Thank you. I used Godot, you can read a little summary of my jam experience here: https://tackertacker.itch.io/fuzzballmcfuzzface/devlog/143310/added-the-source-c...

I also added the source code for the project if you want to check out that mess ;P

Nice! I've been hearing awesome things about Godot... might have to give it a look one of these days. Thanks for the link btw... definitely worth a read!

It is a great engine and a great community.

Watched a few tutorial vidz yesterday... scripting will be my biggest challenge, but as you said there is a helpful community eager to assist. Looking forward to making my first game asap!

If you want to learn GDScript I'd recommend you start by reading the step by step guide in the official documentation https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/getting_started/step_by_step/index.html then play around for a bit and watch everything on the Godot tutorials channel starting with this series
